Annual Food Drive

The Marshall Road community is always generous! For our 2018 Food Drive, the students donated 2650 pounds of food - over a ton! These donations help children and families in need. Thank you to the 2nd grade team and 2nd grade students for promoting the drive and assisting in weighing the food.

The Marshall Road community sponsors an annual Thanksgiving Food Drive. Students bring in donations and all items are delivered to Food for Others, which helps address food insecurity for some of the 90,000 people who go hungry in Northern Virginia. In 2017, our community donated over 1,900 pounds of food!

The most needed items include:

  • Canned meats - ham, turkey, chicken, tuna, and beef
  • Milk: shelf-stable (non-refrigerated)
